It's a mixture of emotions

Has it already been almost a month since my last update? >_< Anyways, thought I should write one before I fly off to New Zealand tomorrow. Yup, the trip I had been looking forward to for the past six months is FINALLY happening!

Besides going to the Hobbit-themed banquet and costume party organised by Red Carpet Tours, I will also be going to New Zealand's Gala Premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! It is as predicted, there is a premiere event at New Zealand after all and it's going to held at The Embassy theatre.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more stars to show up at the event apart from the six confirmed Dwarves! Anyways, got a dress ready and everything. I will be posting pics from the event. =) 

Moving on the world premiere of The Desolation of Smaug which I sat through yesterday morning. I don't know if it's me or what but the whole red (black) carpet interview seemed too short. Nothing compared to the one last year in Wellington. Oh well. Except the Dwarf King himself, no sight of the rest of the Dwarves and the Elven King.

It does look like there will be a bigger one in Berlin though:

While trolling the Internet for Martin stuff yesterday before the premiere, I chanced upon this Facebook post by this movie critic and columnist, Jim Slotek: 

The part about Martin having to fly back home due to 'family emergency' really gotten me worried. >_< For a moment, I thought he's not going to the premiere. Even though Amanda replied a fan and said that they will be at the premiere and everything is fine: 

Well, it's been a day, and Martin are cancelling publicity stuff for DOS one by one. First there is the #AskBilbo on Twitter, next it's the Google+ Hangout... Every fan is worried sick and I swear that I can sense something was amiss during the premiere. I also tried asking Amanda directly but she's not answering directly and seems to be keeping mum about something: 

I understand and respect the fact that Martin is very private and protective when it comes to his family. But I love Martin and Amanda alot. I really wish nothing serious happened. *Fingers crossed*
