**Submission closed**: Calling all Martin Freeman fans!

September the 8th is a special day! It's Martin's 42nd birthday. ^_^ We are calling all fans out there to send in your birthday messages to Martin.

In collaboration with the FreeMartinis and wonderful fellow Martin fans/friends, we are proud to present to you this project:

Interested and participating fans, before you start, please follow me on Twitter (you may unfollow after event is over... ^^;) or e-mail me at crazyformartinfreeman@gmail.com to confirm your participation in this project as we are doing some headcount and doing some planning:

You will record a video using your mobile phone or other video-recording device with your birthday message to Martin based on the following criteria:

Duration: Maximum 60 secs
Location: Outdoor or indoor, your choice
Categories:

It will be split into 3 categories in the following sequence:

1. Individual videos - These will be shown first in the compiled video
2. Group videos - These will be shown after individual videos
3. Message photos - These will be placed at the very end of the compiled video 

Format: Preferably MP4
**EXTENDED** Deadline: 25 August 2013, Sunday, 11:59p.m. (Your time)
How to submit:

E-mail: crazyformartinfreeman@gmail.com 

Information to include: 

- Name you want to show on the video

- E-mail (This will not be on the video itself)

- Your blog/website URL if any

- Location (i.e. New York, USA)

Key point: You must be comfortable to appear in front of the camera. Be original and unique. To be as cheerful, full of life and fun as possible! It's a joyous occasion after all! =3

Optional: 

You can also make your own D.I.Y. birthday message on a vanguard sheet or card board and hold it for the camera/place on the table and take a picture of it as well if you do not wish to be in front of the camera. =) We will ensure that it will be included in the video as well!

All birthday message videos received will be composited into one video and then sent to Martin via Amanda's Twitter account. =)
